Sinister Slouch Hat Pattern
Sinister Slouch Hat Pattern
Sinister Slouch is a slouchy, colorwork beanie that is worked in the round, starting at the ribbed brim and ending with decreases at the crown. The brim is knit in 1 x 1 ribbing and the rest of the hat is knit in stockinette.
The cast on and brim are knitted with a US 3 (3.25 mm) circular needle and the body of the hat is completed with a US 5 (3.75 mm) circular needle. The two-size difference between the needles used in this pattern allows for a little extra “slouch” in the hat and gives the knitter extra slack in the colorwork section to help avoid puckering.
