Polwarth Fingering Weight | Maple | Hand Dyed Yarn | Superwash Polwarth

$29.00

**This listing is for one (1) Skein of hand-dyed yarn. The majority of my yarn is ready to ship but, in order to make each colorway as available as possible, some colorways will be dyed to order. This is why you will see a 1-2 week shipping time on your order. I try to ship as early as possible but occasionally it may take up to two weeks. **

Hand-dyed yarn made by me! This yarn was dyed using high-quality acid dyes. Each skein is truly a one-of-a-kind and is made in small batches. Because of the nature of hand-dyed yarn, you may receive a skein that looks slightly different than the skein pictured here. Here are the particulars:

Color: Maple

Style: Speckled/Variegated

Yarn Bases Available:

Café Au Lait Fingering Weight: This superwash fingering weight 4-ply yarn base is 100% Polwarth. This yarn is very similar to Merino wool but is worsted spun from a longer staple fiber. The result is a very soft and durable yarn. The wool comes from the New Zealand Polwarth Sheep, an old sheep breed that is 75% Merino and 25% Lincoln. Great for sweaters, shawls, and socks. There are 437 yards/100 grams.

I try my best to take photos to accurately represent the colors but since each computer/mobile device displays pictures slightly differently, colors may differ a little in person than what you see on your screen. if you have questions about color/photos, please send me a message. Thanks!

Washing: Machine washable (although, I always recommend hand-washing for best results), lie flat to dry.
